Dentons strengthens its Corporate and M&A, Life Sciences, and Competition and Antitrust
practices in Russia

Moscow, July 3, 2018 – Partners Vladimir Sokov and Sergey Klimenko, and counsels Nigina Rabieva and Radmila Nikitina have joined Dentons’ Moscow office along with their teams.

Vladimir Sokov specializes in corporate law, M&A, commercial law, antitrust and real estate in life sciences. He was highly ranked in Corporate/M&A, Competition law and Life Sciences categories in Russia by Chambers Europe, The Legal 500 and IFLR 1000. Over his professional career of almost 15 years, Vladimir has handled major M&A projects and has successfully participated in numerous corporate litigations as instructed by well-known transnational and Russian companies. Vladimir previously worked at Pepeliaev Group, where he headed the Corporate practice group, and Hannes Snellman, where he managed the Moscow office. He contributed numerous articles on legal issues, participated in legislative drafting projects, and is a member of the Russian Bar Association.

Sergey Klimenko will head Dentons’ Life Sciences practice in Russia. Sergey is ranked among the leading life sciences lawyers by Сhambers Europe 2018. He has extensive experience advising companies in the life sciences industry on a wide range of regulatory and commercial matters, including complex issues relating to the circulation of medicines, medical devices and biomedical cell products, healthcare services, PPP in healthcare, asset deals regarding medicines, medical devices, and other products for human and animal health, genetic engineering, biotechnology for agricultural companies, public procurement. Sergey formerly worked at Pepeliaev Group, where he headed the Life Sciences practice, and at the Russian manufacturer of original biologic medicines.

Nigina Rabieva has extensive experience advising Russian and foreign companies in the life sciences and industrial sectors on a wide range of corporate, commercial, PPP and real estate complex issues, as well as on regulatory and environmental law issues. Nigina previously worked at Renaissance Capital and Pepeliaev Group. In addition to her law degree (diploma with honors), Nigina holds a medical degree from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.

Radmila Nikitina specializes in competition and commercial law. She has significant experience in advising Russian and foreign clients on a wide range of issues relating to the application of the legislation on cartels, abuse of dominance, vertical restraints, public procurement and unfair competition. Radmila represents clients before Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (the “FAS”) and in state commercial courts in competition related cases. Since 2014 Radmila is listed in the Best Lawyers in Russia in the field of Competition/Antitrust Law. Before joining Dentons, Radmila worked at Pepeliaev Group, where she headed the Commercial/Antitrust practice.

The team of lawyers who have joined Dentons specializes and provides a complex legal support on a wide range of commercial, corporate, competition and regulatory issues in respect of pharmaceuticals industry (including, inter alia, animal health), medical devices, biotechnology and other spheres of the life sciences industry. The team represents the clients in public procurement, advertising and complex regulatory matters, supports life sciences companies during audits of supervising authorities, carries out mock audits and preventive legal audits regarding the circulation of products.
