Ahlers takes the next step in expanding its presence in Russia

Ahlers continues to grow on the market of supply chain solutions with a 3 million euro investment into a new office for its regional headquarters in Saint Petersburg.
‘Ahlers marks 110 years of history by expanding its international presence and growing its business in Russia and CIS countries. Further expansion in the region is based on the existing strengths and experience. During the last years Ahlers Russia multiplied its business and turnover by continuous organic growth by opening new warehouses in Chelyabinsk and Novosibirsk, the customs warehouse in Saint Petersburg and the introduction of new services such as reverse logistics, support of trading activities, secured transportation of high value goods and data analytics solutions.
‘We plan to finish construction works in the second half of 2020. The new office will offer 3000 m² of contemporary workspace to the current and future employees of Ahlers in Saint Petersburg,’ – says Lodewijk De Meulemeester, the project lead for the new office construction.
