8/11 – Start of the professional study program “The Independent Director” by Higher Economic School of UNECON and The Association of Professional Directors

Higher Economic School (HES) of UNECON and The Association of Professional Directors (IDA) invite you to join professional study program “The Independent Director”.  

The program was developed by IDA experts with extensive experience in the boards of directors of private and public companies. The program is a complete set of knowledge and skills for working in the boards of directors of Russian companies of medium and large businesses. The program was attended by over 420 top managers, board members and owners of Russian companies.

Schedule:

Module 1 | November 8-10 – “Corporate Governance and the Role of the Board of Directors”

• Speaker: Igor Rozanov, Head of the IDA Academy, previously – IDA Executive Director, Chairman and of member of the Boards of Directors of a number of non-public companies.

Module 2 | November 15-16 – “Strategy for Board Members”

• Speaker: Svyatoslav Biryulin , for morethan 20 years worked as top-manager of large Russian companies. Professionally engaged in the development and implementation of strategies for medium and medium-large enterprises. Independent director of a number of companies. He is the author of How to Spoil and Ruin a Business, Certified Director IoD . Awardee of Director of the Year 2015.

Module 3 | November 22-23 – “Finance for non-financial directors”

• Speaker: Ekaterina Azimina , Dip IoD , an expert in corporate governance and finance, more than 10 years of successful work on the boards of directors (Baltika Brewing Company, Carlsberg Group , PJSC Russian Aquaculture ), professor at St. Petersburg State University of Economics.

Module 4 | November 29-30 – “Change Management, Remuneration and Succession of Top Management”

Speakers:

• Natalia Strelkova, is engaged in research on the activities of the boards of directors at IE Business School, and is working on a thesis ( PhD ) in corporate governance. He has more than 15 years of experience in leadership positions in HR NK Yukos, MTS, Metinvest Group.
• Marina Pochinok, expert at the International Olympic Committee, expert on talent development, leadership and human resource management (Philips, TNK-BP, Kidzania , Sberbank, etc.)

December 1st Exam.
