Submission of applications for “Investor of the year 2018” contest proceeds in St. Petersburg
The submission of contest applications for the award by the Government of Saint Petersburg – badge of honor “Investor of the year” will last till 20th September, 2018. Russian and foreign companies that have accomplished the implementation of their investment projects within St. Petersburg in 2017 are invited to participate in the competition.
Best investment projects will be chosen in 8 categories that cover the highest priority fields of economic development in St. Petersburg as following: manufacturing industry, consumer market, transport infrastructure, development of territories, social and historical heritage preservation, social issues, culture and tourism. Special independent Government award will be given for the best strategic investment project implementation.
The winners will be defined by contest committee. No more than 3 awards in each category are given annually.
It should be pointed out that the Government award “Investor of the year” is given annually since 2015. It was established with the purpose of rising the investment attraction of St. Petersburg and business activity as well as motivation of investors that made the distinguished contribution in social and economic development of St. Petersburg.
