Borenius Russia holds the strong position in the Chambers Europe 2017 rankings of law firms

International legal directory Chambers and Partners has published the results of its annual research of the European legal market, and Borenius Russia has once again demonstrated its outstanding credentials. In 2017, the firm has been highly ranked in the following areas of the law: Dispute Resolution, General Business Law, and Real Estate.
Chambers and Partners report client comments that: “[The firm’s lawyers] have a very deep understanding of the Russian legal system and Russian business … and are quick to understand the specific needs of business.”
As before, Borenius Russia has been ranked in Band 2 for General Business Law, while Managing partner Andrei Gusev has once again merited inclusion in the top band. Сhambers and Partners describe Andrei as a highly qualified lawyer. Clients’ reviews mark him out as a lawyer who is “pragmatic and responsive.”
Partner Maya Petrova has, for a second successive year, been placed in the top band for Real Estate, while the firm claimed a place in Band 2 for this practice area. Clients praise Maya’s ability to be “proactive”.
The Dispute Resolution practice also features in Band 2 of the ranking. In addition, attorney-at-law Lyubov Erigo, senior counsel in the practice, has maintained her personal position in Band 2, and her colleague an attorney-at-law Irina Seleznova, made Band 3.
In 2017, Pavel Savitsky, head of IP and TMT practice, maintained his status as an “Up and Coming” lawyer in the eyes of the Chambers & Partners researchers. Clients are deeply appreciative of his skill in “taking complex areas of law and making them easy to understand.”
